ECONOMICAL STUDY ON MEAT CATTLE

+136 €/HA OF GROSS MARGIN THANKS TO BACTERIOSOL«/ BACTERIOLIT«

Study ran under the supervision of Professor Marcel Mazoyer, Agronomist engineer and expert in agricultural economy, Emeritus Professor of agricultural development at AgroParisTech (National Institute of Agronomy Paris-Grignon), Former President of the Committee of the food and agriculture organisation of the United Nations (FAO), Chief editor of the last Agriculture Larousse, published in 2002, former national manager of the agricultural economy department at INRA (National Institute of Agronomical Research).

OBJECTIVE:

The objective of this study is to compare the technical and economical results of 30 farms

  • 15 of which are using BACTERIOSOL┬«/BACTERIOLIT┬« concept on a 100% of their farms for over 3 years ( 8 years in average),
  • 15 of which are the most economically performing farms of the area and non user of BACTERIOSOL┬«/BACTERIOLIT┬« concept.

All those farms have Limousine cattle cattle and are located in the same area in the Limousine region.

c-	Vegetal charges on 100 haa-	Animal gross margin on 100 ha

d-	Final margin on 100 ha

CONCLUSION:

Bactériosol® /Bactériolit®'s technology by increasing soil's fertility allows:

  • a quantitative improvement (+6%) and qualitative vegetal production while reducing charges (-4%),
  • an increased animal production + 11%,
  • an improved quality of income of 13%, in other words + 624 €/year on 100 ha.

Therefore, this ┬źquality chain┬╗ from soil to plant and to animal has a positive impact on the user-farmers' incomes and on the environment (fewer inputs, less pollution, less energy consumption).

Thus, this technology is a good tool for the development of a sustainable, thrifty and autonomous agriculture.
